THE FLYING DOGGIES! PRIVACY POLICY

WE ARE COMMITTED TO SAFEGUARDING YOUR PRIVACY ONLINE. PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS SITE.
Off The Leash, LLC (DBA "Flying Doggies!," "we," "us", "our", etc.) takes seriously its responsibilities regarding the privacy of each user ("user," "you", "your', etc.) of the MyFlyingDoggies.com site (the "Site"). We want you to understand our practices with regard to collecting and using your information both online and offline and the steps we take to safeguard it.
We are dog lovers - not lawyers - so we'll try and keep this simple.
This Privacy Policy applies to personally identifiable information collected from FlyingDoggies! customers.
When this Privacy Policy uses the term "personally identifiable information," we mean information that identifies a particular individual, such as the individual's name, postal address, e-mail address, credit card number, and telephone number. This information may also include things like consumer product preferences, product reviews you submit and the like. Personally identifiable information is sometimes referred to in this Privacy Policy as "personal information."
1. General
We do not collect any personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it to us. While you may use some of the functionality of the Site without registration, some of the activities and services might require you to subscribe or create a FlyingDoggies! account. If you do not subscribe or create an account on or through the Site, the only information we collect will be "non-personal information" (i.e., information that is not traceable back to you and cannot be used to identify you; for example, non-personal information includes information such as the web pages that you have viewed) through the use of "cookies". If you choose to subscribe or create an account through the Site, we may require you to submit personally identifiable information. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the personally identifiable information you submit to FlyingDoggies! Inaccurate information (such as an out-of-date email address) will affect the information you receive when using the Site and our ability to contact you.
2. Your Consent
BY SUBMITTING PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION TO US, AND/OR BY USING THE SITE, YOU AGREE THAT WE MAY COLLECT, USE AND DISCLOSE SUCH PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND TERMS OF USE, AND AS PERMITTED OR REQUIRED BY LAW.
If you do not agree with these terms, do not provide any personally identifiable information to us. If you refuse or withdraw your consent, or if you choose not to provide us with any required personally identifiable information, we may not be able to provide you with certain products or services that can be offered on the Site.
3. Data and Information We Collect
a. Personally Identifiable Information
We may collect personally identifiable information from you, like name, e-mail address and the like. But we don't sell it. And we won't ever give it to kittie cats.
b. Aggregate Information
Our site may collect non-personal information about you like your IP address and such. Our site also uses "cookies," so we hope you have them enabled. If you don't, we cannot guarantee a favorable experience with us. But we aim to please!
4. Use of Data and Information
a. Personally Identifiable Information
We may ask you for information about yourself including your name, address and possibly your dogs name, breed and birthday. We're not snoops, but we do this because we hope to make ourselves of better value to you along the way.
Your e-mail address will be used only for our newsletter and other promotional or informational mailings from us and we won't share it with other folks. Instructions for unsubscribing will be included in every e-mail.
When you submit a product review on our site, your name may be displayed next to the review on MyFlyingDoggies.com. We do not do this to embarrass you; your name lends credibility to your review. If you are not comfortable with this and have submitted a review, please email us at FlyingDoggies@sbcglobal.net and we will remove your review - and your name - from the site.
b. Aggregate Information
We use the aggregate information that we collect in a manner that does not personally identify any individual. We use aggregate information to make the Site more interesting and useful to you. We also track the pages or documents accessed within the Site. This information is collected for marketing people who hope to use it for analyzing and improving the value of the products and content available on the Site.
5. Information We Share with Others
a. Contractors
We may contract with other companies from time-to-time (like credit card processors, shippers, website developers and others) to provide certain services to FlyingDoggies! to fulfill orders, and create or maintain our website. In some instances, these contractors may have access to personally identifiable information but they are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality of the information and to use it only for purposes of carrying out FlyingDoggies! business.
b. Third Parties
Your e-mail address is never shared with any third party (except as described above to our contractors who use it only to carry out FlyingDoggies! business).

Notwithstanding the above policies, we reserve the right to disclose your personal information to appropriate third parties if we are required to do so by law or we believe that such action is necessary:
a. To comply with legal process such as a search warrant, subpoena or court order;
b. To protect the company's rights and property;
c. To investigate reports of fraud or of users sending material using a false e-mail address or users sending harassing, threatening, or abusive messages;
d. To protect against misuse or unauthorized use of our web site; or
e. During emergencies, such as when we believe someone's physical safety is at risk.
7. Your Choices
We may offer choices about the types of information you receive from us. If you prefer not to receive emails, catalogs or other communications from FlyingDoggies!, please contact us at the address shown below and give use your name and contact information. If you no longer wish to receive our electronic newsletter you also may contact us at one of the addresses set forth in Section 13 of this Privacy Policy.
8. Links to Other Sites
We may include links from our site to other sites from time to time. We do this out of anticipated convenience to you and we hope you find these links helpful. Please read the legal terms and associate mumbo jumbo of these sites upon arrival, or do not visit them.
9. Security
It is our intent to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you. We use a variety of current technologies and processes for protection of our customer data. We limit the information we provide to outside companies with whom we contract to only what they need to carry out their responsibilities.
When you make a purchase, request a catalog or create an account on our web site, your transactional information is transmitted in a safe, encrypted format. We maintain the data you provide, along with a record of your purchases, in a secure database. 10. International Users
The Site is hosted in the United States and is intended for and directed to users in the United States. If you access the Site from any region or country with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure, that differ from United States laws, please be advised that through your continued use of the Site, which is governed by U.S. law, this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use, you are transferring your personal information to the United States and you consent to that transfer.
11. Privacy of Children on Our Web Site
Our web site is not intended for use by children (human or canine) under 13 years of age old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Parents: If your child is under the age of 13 and you believe they have provide us their information without your consent, please notify us via email at FlyingDoggies@sbcglobal.net, and we will cancel your child's account and nullify all personally identifiable information displayed on the Site that was collected from him/her.
12. Policy Changes
Just like dogs, we may change our mind and likewise, this policy may change. We don't do this out of calculated or anticipated harm to you, but we have to say so to ensure you know that sometimes things change and you accept that.
